# Get promo code — AliExpress Affiliates

Botize method — `aliexpress_associates.get_promo_code` (action).

Given a country and an order amount, returns the best AliExpress promo code currently valid: the biggest discount whose minimum order the amount reaches.

- The codes come from the codes page AliExpress publishes for its affiliates, which Botize reads once a day. They are not available through AliExpress' API.
- The amount is in the currency of the country's codes (for Spain, euros).
- If the amount does not reach any minimum, the code comes back empty.
- If the codes for the country have run out, the code comes back empty with a notice. If you receive AliExpress' affiliate emails, drop the latest one in this form so we load the new codes page.

This is an action: it runs as a step of a task. Several can be chained.

## Fields you set

- `country` *(string)* — Country (2-letter code: ES, FR, US…)
- `amount` *(string)* — Order amount

- `{{min_text}}` *(text)* — Minimum order with currency. Minimum order as AliExpress shows it, e.g. 45€
- `{{currency}}` *(text)* — Currency. Currency of the country's codes, as AliExpress shows it, e.g. €
- `{{valid_until}}` *(text)* — Valid until. Last moment the code is valid, UTC (Y-m-d H:i:s)
- `{{country}}` *(text)* — Country. Country asked for
