# Check if the results of a query are iterable — Amazon Elasticsearch

Botize method — `aws_elasticsearch.each_item_in_a_search_query` (trigger).

Iterate over the documents returned by an Elasticsearch query, one per run.

This is a trigger: it starts the task. A task has exactly one.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `document_json` *(string)* — Document JSON
- `end` *(string, one of: "" = Start again from the beginning; "wait" = Remain waiting for new documents)* — When reaches the last document
