# Fetch next new payment — Blink

Botize method — `blink.get_next_new_payment` (action).

Fetches the next new BTC Lightning payment received in your Blink account since the last check.

This is an action: it runs as a step of a task. Several can be chained.

## Output variables

Data this step makes available. Reference them in later steps with the double-brace tag.

- `{{transaction_id}}` *(text)* — Transaction ID. Unique identifier of the transaction.
- `{{amount}}` *(decimal)* — Amount received (in satoshis). Payment amount in satoshis.
- `{{memo}}` *(text)* — Memo of the payment. Optional note or label provided with the payment.
- `{{timestamp}}` *(decimal)* — Unix timestamp of the payment. Unix time when the payment was received.
- `{{via}}` *(text)* — Payment method (ln/onchain/internal). Payment type: Lightning, on-chain or internal transfer.
