# Calculate a mathematical expression — Calculator

Evaluates a mathematical expression and returns its result.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `pattern` *(string)* — Mathematical expression
- `round_type` *(string, one of: "" = No; "round" = Rounds to the nearest integer; "floor" = Rounds down to the nearest integer; "ceil" = Rounds up to the nearest integer)* — Round the result
- `mb_outputvars_switch` *(boolean)* — Customize tags

## Output variables

Data this step makes available. Reference them in later steps with the double-brace tag.
