# Strip HTML tags from string — HTML Parser

Botize method — `btzhtmlparser.html_strip_tags` (action).

Removes HTML and/or XML tags from a string of text. Allows specifying a list of tags to keep in the text and remove all others.

The text that may have been contained between deleted tags is preserved.

This is an action: it runs as a step of a task. Several can be chained.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `html_string` *(string)* — HTML String
- `allowed_tags` *(string)* — Allowed HTML Tags list

## Output variables
