# Add Text to an Image — Images

Botize method — `btztxt2img.generate` (action).

Convert text into an image.

This is an action: it runs as a step of a task. Several can be chained.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `title` *(string)* — Title
- `subtitle` *(string)* — Subtitle
- `footer` *(string)* — Footer
- `size` *(string, one of: "200x200" = 200x200 Pixels; "300x100" = 300x100 Pixels; "300x300" = 300x300 Pixels; "400x200" = 400x200 Pixels; "400x400" = 400x400 Pixels; "440x220" = 440x220 Pixels (for Twitter); "1080x1920" = 1080x1920 Pixels (for Instagram Stories); "1280x720" = 1280x720 Pixels (Youtube thumbnail size))* — Image size
- `background_url` *(string)* — Background image URL 1
- `background2_url` *(string)* — Background image URL 2
- `template` *(string, one of: "0" = Center A; "1" = Center B; "2" = Bottom Left, default: "0")* — Template

## Output variables

Data this step makes available. Reference them in later steps with the double-brace tag.

- `{{image_url}}` *(url)* — Image URL. The URLs Botize creates are short-lived: they exist while the task runs (usually less than a minute), not as permanent links. If you need to keep the file, save it to a cloud service (Dropbox, FTP, Google Drive...) as part of the same automation. Posting to social networks or messaging apps is not a problem: those services store their own copy, so the image still shows even after the original link is gone
