# Extract multiple rows and columns — Google Sheets

Botize method — `gspreadsheet.column_to_array` (action).

Extract one or more specific rows and columns.

This is an action: it runs as a step of a task. Several can be chained.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `sheet_url` *(string)* — URL of your sheet document
- `exclude_first_row` *(boolean)* — Exclude first row
- `by_column` *(string)* — Only rows that have certain values ​​in this column.
- `columns` *(string)* — Columns to extract (separated by comma)
- `sheet_by` *(string, one of: "position" = Sheet Number; "name" = Sheet name, default: "position")*
- `number_sheet` *(string, one of: "1" = 1; "2" = 2; "3" = 3; "4" = 4; "5" = 5, default: "1")* — Sheet Number
- `name_sheet` *(string)* — Sheet name
- `mb_outputvars_switch` *(boolean)* — Customize tags

It also accepts repeatable field groups, with these prefixes: `filter_*`. These are composite components (buttons, filters, keyboards); the trailing number is set by the user as they are added.
