# Extract the next new rows from an SQL-like query — Google Sheets

Botize method — `gspreadsheet.read_rows_by_sql` (trigger).

Iterates through the rows returned by an SQL query, one by one or in groups.

This is a trigger: it starts the task. A task has exactly one.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `mb_switch` *(boolean)* — Rules
- `sheet_url` *(string)* — URL of your sheet document
- `sheet` *(string)* — Sheet. Sheet id (gid) chosen from the list, or the sheet name. Empty = first sheet.
- `sql_query` *(string)* — SQL Query
- `value_mode` *(string, one of: "raw" = Unformatted values (for calculations and logic); "formatted" = Displayed values as shown in Google Sheets; "both" = Both raw and formatted values)* — Value format
- `rows_per_run` *(number)* — Rows per run
- `end` *(string)* — When the document reaches the end
- `mb_outputvars_switch` *(boolean)* — Customize tags

It also accepts repeatable field groups, with these prefixes: `mb_filters_*`. These are composite components (buttons, filters, keyboards); the trailing number is set by the user as they are added.
