# Calls a service within a specific domain — Home Assistant

Botize method — `home_assistant.custom_call` (action).

Executes a custom call to a specific service within a domain.

This action allows you to send custom calls to the endpoint POST '/api/services/<domain>/<service>' of your Home Assistant installation.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `mb_switch` *(boolean)* — Rules
- `entity_id` *(string)* — Device
- `service_id` *(string)* — Service

It also accepts repeatable field groups, with these prefixes: `mb_filters_*`, `parameter_name_*`, `parameter_value_*`. These are composite components (buttons, filters, keyboards); the trailing number is set by the user as they are added.
