# Create indicators — LaMetric TIME

Botize method — `lametric.indicator` (action).

Create one or more frames with indicators, metrics, or important information to display on the LaMetric TIME device.

This is an action: it runs as a step of a task. Several can be chained.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `mb_switch` *(boolean)* — Rules
- `mb_outputvars_switch` *(boolean)* — Customize tags

It also accepts repeatable field groups, with these prefixes: `mb_filters_*`, `layer_group_*`, `layer_text_icon_*`, `layer_text_txt_*`, `layer_goal_icon_*`, `layer_goal_txt_*`, `layer_goal_start_*`, `layer_goal_current_*`, `layer_goal_end_*`, `layer_goal_unit_*`, `layer_chart_data_*`. These are composite components (buttons, filters, keyboards); the trailing number is set by the user as they are added.

## Output variables

Data this step makes available. Reference them in later steps with the double-brace tag.

- `{{new_image_url}}` *(text)* — Image URL. The URLs Botize creates are short-lived: they exist while the task runs (usually less than a minute), not as permanent links. If you need to keep the file, save it to a cloud service (Dropbox, FTP, Google Drive...) as part of the same automation. Posting to social networks or messaging apps is not a problem: those services store their own copy, so the image still shows even after the original link is gone
