# Reset all tasks in a group — Botize Tasks

Botize method — `plugin_delay.reset_group` (action).

Reset all tasks given a certain group.

Tasks may need to store counters or pointers for proper operation. A task that publishes messages or runs through a spreadsheet, uses counters to know at all times which was the last row visited and which will be the next.

When reset a task, all these counters are eliminated.

This is an action: it runs as a step of a task. Several can be chained.

## Fields you set

The field's internal name, its type and the values it accepts. These fields accept `{{...}}` tags from earlier steps.

- `group` *(string)* — Task Group to reset

## Output variables

Data this step makes available. Reference them in later steps with the double-brace tag.

- `{{total_reset_tasks}}` *(int)* — Total reseted tasks
