API Credentials for Blink
Guide to obtaining tokens, keys, and connections.
To access Blink’s API you need just one piece of data – your personal "API Key". Below you’ll find clear, step‑by‑step instructions to obtain it from Blink’s web dashboard.
API Key
-
1
Open your browser and visit https://dashboard.blink.sv; this web dashboard is the desktop version of your Blink wallet.
-
2
Log in with the same email/username and password you use in the Blink mobile app.
-
3
In the left‑hand menu, click “API Keys” to enter the key‑management section.
-
4
Click the blue “+” button (or “Create API Key”) to generate a new key.
-
5
Give the key a name that helps you recognise it (for example, "Botize") and leave the default permissions if you only need simple transaction signing.
-
6
Press “Create”; Blink will display your key in the format blink_xxxxxxxxx. Copy it now and store it safely in a password manager, because it won’t be shown again.
-
7
If you lose the key or suspect it has been leaked, return to “API Keys”, delete the old one and create a new key to keep your account secure.
-
8
Congratulations! You now have your API Key and can start automating tasks with Blink.
