API Credentials for TinyURL

Guide to obtaining tokens, keys, and connections.

To connect to the TinyURL API you need the "API Key" from your TinyURL account. Below you will find clear instructions on how to obtain it.

TinyURL API Key

    Open your browser and go to https://tinyurl.com. If you already have an account, click “Log In” and sign in. If not, choose “Sign Up” and create a free account with your email.

    Once logged in, click your profile menu in the top bar (usually your email address) and select “Settings.”

    On the settings page you will see a section labeled “API.” Click it, or go directly to https://tinyurl.com/app/settings/api.

    In the “Token Name” field, enter a name that helps you remember how the key will be used, for example: botize.

    Click the “Create” button. TinyURL will immediately generate a long text string under the label “API Token.” This string is your API Key.

    Copy the key by clicking the copy icon or selecting it with your mouse. Save it temporarily in a safe place (for example, a text editor) because you will need it in Botize in the next step.
