Troubleshooting

Common Errors

Error 463. Validating access token: Session has expired
Your Instagram access token has expired. By default, Instagram tokens are only valid for a few hours. To prevent it from expiring so quickly, you can generate a token that lasts for 2 months. This video explains how to get it starting at minute 2:36: watch video

Invalid Access Token. 'accounts' key was expected
This error occurs because you do not have any Instagram account set up as a business account, or because the business account is not correctly linked to a Facebook page. To resolve this, follow the steps outlined in the following video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNAJjF-uyF8

Media upload has failed with error code 2207026
The video format must be a MOV or MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 14) file. Also, make sure the URL you are providing is a direct link to the video file, not just a link to a web page.

Media upload has failed with error code 2207076
Instagram was unable to process the media file. This is usually due to the video being corrupted, using an unsupported codec, or having an audio format that Instagram does not accept. Re-export the video as MP4 with H.264 video codec and AAC audio, make sure the URL points directly to the file (not to a web page), and try again.
