Simple and intuitive API gateway for WhatsApp.
https://whapi.cloud

This integration allows you to automate tasks on WhatsApp using Whapi, a simple and intuitive API for WhatsApp. With Whapi, you can set up triggers that initiate automations, such as receiving a new text message or an image, and actions that execute automatically, like sending messages to contacts, posting stories, or interacting with groups and channels. Additionally, Whapi facilitates user interaction through the 'Ask the user' function, which sends messages and waits for responses before proceeding with the automation.

Automating tasks with Whapi helps you enhance efficiency and interaction with your WhatsApp contacts, enabling you to manage communications more effectively and personally. Whether you're looking to automatically respond to inquiries, send updates, or manage groups and channels, Whapi provides the necessary tools to optimize your communication processes on WhatsApp.

Triggers

The trigger is the event that starts the automation.

Actions

The action is what happens automatically, without you having to do anything else.

Common Errors

Error 429 (Too Many Requests) - Soft Ban on Whapi

This error indicates that your WhatsApp number has been temporarily restricted (soft ban) due to unusual activity. You may still be able to use your account partially—such as reading or replying to messages—but you might not be able to send new messages or create groups, among other limitations.

To resolve this, follow these steps:

1. **Let the number rest for 24-48 hours.** Stop sending messages or performing the activity you were doing before (such as creating groups).

2. **Reinstall the WhatsApp app and switch accounts.** If you're using WhatsApp Business, log in with the regular WhatsApp app (and vice versa).

3. **Contact WhatsApp support through the app.** Go to *Settings → Help → Contact Us* and request to have your account unblocked, explaining that you haven't violated any rules.

This block is not permanent, but continued excessive use could lead to a permanent ban.
