In detail

What it does and what it's for

Automate tasks with Google Photos and streamline the management of your albums. This integration allows you to sequentially access the most recent images from a specific album, facilitating their use in various applications and workflows.

By setting up this automation, the 100 most recent photos from the selected album are always extracted, delivering the next most recent image based on its creation date with each execution. It's essential that the album in Google Photos is ordered from most to least recent to ensure proper functionality. When running the task for the first time, it will start from the most recent photo in the album.

On each run it returns the next most recent photo, based on the image's creation date.

Requires you to set the album in Google Photos to display them in order of most recent to least recent.
Running the task for the first time will start from the most recent photo in the album.
