Frequently Asked Questions
Is it better to create a blog post or use WooCommerce to display affiliate products?
Creating WordPress posts to display affiliate products can make sense if you're planning to write a full article with valuable content for the reader, such as comparisons, recommendations, reviews, or opinions. However, if you're only going to show the product name, an image, the price, and a short description, then creating a post is usually not the best option.
In such cases, it's more advisable to install the WooCommerce plugin and take advantage of the fact that Botize also integrates with WooCommerce to send the products there directly. This not only improves the presentation and user experience on your website, but also makes it easier to organize, filter, and display products.
In short: if you're going to write useful and detailed content, use a post. If you just want to display products, install WooCommerce and publish them there directly with Botize.
Common Errors
The provided image URL does not appear to be a valid URL
WordPress indicates that the URL you have provided for the image is not a valid URL.
This can happen due to a simple typographical error when entering the URL. Make sure the URL is written correctly, including the protocol (such as http:// or https://).
Also, ensure that you have only entered the URL of the image to be used in the 'Featured Image URL' field.
If you have entered a tag, make sure the tag's value is a valid URL without any additional text added.
