Automate tasks with BoT GPS

Connect BoT GPS with 200+ apps and let your tasks run themselves. Describe what you want and Botize builds it. No code.

The Bsize BoT GPS tag, as data: where it is, how much battery it has left, and the messages in its inbox — voice messages arrive already transcribed to text. Useful to be warned when the tag leaves a place, when it has not reported for a while, when it is about to run out of battery, or when whoever carries it sends a message. You need a BoT tag and its bot.app account.

Triggers & actions

What can you automate with BoT GPS?

Everything you see below. Just pick a trigger and one or more actions.

Triggers

The trigger is the event that starts the automation.

  • bsize_bot

    New message

Triggers once for each new message in a BoT tag's inbox: voice messages (which arrive already transcribed to text), BoT's own system notices, and transit card charges. One message per run, oldest pending first, never repeated. The first run publishes the most recent message and takes the earlier ones as already seen, so activating the task does not replay your whole history.

Actions

The action is what happens automatically, without you having to do anything else.

  • bsize_bot

    Get the battery level

Returns how much battery a BoT tag has left, and whether BoT is flagging it as needing a charge. It also returns when the tag last reported: a reading that keeps getting older is itself a sign that the tag has already died. Pair it with the clock trigger and a rule on 'Needs charging' to be warned before it runs out.

  • bsize_bot

    Get the location

Returns the last known position of a BoT tag: latitude, longitude, accuracy in metres and a map link, plus how long ago the tag reported it. The tag does not stream its position: it sends it every few minutes, so this is always the latest reading, also when the tag is switched off or out of battery. Use 'Minutes since the reading' if you need to tell 'it is there' from 'it was there when it died'. The battery also comes back, so you do not need a second step for it.
