Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Botize not showing me any fan page or not showing me the page I'm looking for so I can select it?
It can be due to two main reasons:
- 1. You don't have any pages assigned to your Facebook account.
Facebook only shows the pages that you have assigned to your Facebook account. If you don't have any pages assigned, they won't be shown in the results. - 2. You don't have administrator permission for the page you're looking for.
Facebook only allows access to fan pages that you have access to and with administrator permissions.
Common Errors
Error 190-460: Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.
The access token that allows Botize to interact with your Facebook page is no longer valid. This could be because you changed your Facebook password, which automatically invalidates all tokens for security reasons, or Facebook has invalidated the session for other security reasons.
To resolve this issue, you need to reauthorize the application.
HTTP Internal error code 28
Facebook did not respond within the set time limit for the request. If this error occurs only occasionally, it's possible that the Facebook API is temporarily overloaded or experiencing delays, resulting in slower response times and potential timeouts in requests.
Error 190-463
The access token has expired, preventing your user from accessing the Facebook Pages API.
You need to renew the access token by accessing https://botize.com/en/app/fpages and clicking the 'Add a new profile' button.
