Connect Botize to ChatGPT and build automations just by chatting

Connect it once and, in any chat, ask ChatGPT to install a template. It loads it and guides you until it's up and running — no tech skills needed.

Part 1 · Just once

Connect Botize to ChatGPT

    Open ChatGPT

    Open chatgpt.com and sign in.

    Open Settings → Apps

    Click your profile (bottom-left) → Settings → Apps.

    Turn on Developer mode

    In Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode. That's what lets you add a custom connector like Botize; once on, a Create app button appears.

    ChatGPT flags custom connectors as “developer mode”. It's a normal, safe step to connect Botize.

    Create the app with Botize's address

    Click Create app. Type Botize as the name, paste the address below, leave authentication on OAuth, check “I understand and want to continue” and click Create.

    Sign in with Botize

    ChatGPT shows “Add Botize to ChatGPT”. Click Sign in with Botize.

    Authorize access

    Botize opens. Sign in if needed and click Authorize. It's the standard Botize screen: you'll see what ChatGPT is asking for (read, create, edit and delete your tasks).

    It's connected

    You'll see Botize connected in your apps, with its address and permissions. The connection stays saved.

Part 2 · Whenever you like

Install a template from chat

    Turn on Botize in the chat with “+”

    Here's the difference from Claude: on ChatGPT the connector isn't used automatically. In a new chat click the “+” in the message box and choose Botize to turn it on for that conversation.

    Paste the template you want to install

    With Botize on (you'll see its label in the message box), paste the template's address and send.

    ChatGPT loads the template and guides you

    ChatGPT calls the connector, explains what the template does in plain language and walks you through setting it up: connecting accounts, choosing your options and switching it on.
