Get started with the MCP

In a few minutes you'll have your AI assistant working with your Botize tasks.

Before you start

A Botize account. If you don't have one, create it for free.
An MCP-compatible AI assistant: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or another one that supports remote MCP servers.

1. Connect your assistant

Follow the guide for yours:

They all end in Botize, where you sign in and authorize access. If you already have an MCP, pick yours at Which MCP do you want to connect? (why it matters).

2. Check that it works

Write to your assistant:

List my Botize tasks.

It should answer with your tasks, or tell you that you don't have any. If it says it has no Botize tools or that the connection is failing, see Your assistant can't see new tools.

In ChatGPT, remember to turn on Botize in the conversation with the + button before writing.

3. Ask for something real

Some ideas to start with:

Set up a template: "Use the Botize MCP to look up template 312 and help me set it up in my account: https://botize.com/en/template/312.md". Swap the number, in the text and in the address, for any ready-made automation. It will explain what it does and guide you to connect the accounts it needs.
Find out why something failed: "My YouTube to Telegram task didn't post yesterday. What happened?".
Create a task: "Create a task that alerts me on Telegram when an email from my bank arrives". It will be created paused so you can review it.
Change a task: "Make the daily summary task run at 8 instead of 9".
